I can share some Peruvian lily bulbs ......What would you have for trade or we can do postage......

Emory, TX(Zone 8a)

Great! I have a ot of things... I notice though you are in 6a...do you want me to see what I have that is hardy there? I know I have some things I could take cuttings and root for you. Some things I have would not be hardy there... I will be taking brug cuttings in about 6 weeks... If you want brug cuttings would it be all right with you for me to send them then and still get the Peruvian lily bulbs now so I could get them in the ground?

I really have enough brugs to drag back in the house in the fall...What would you have for my zone????

As far as plants hardy in in your area, all I am sure about right now are:

Passiflora 'Incense'

Hydrangea 'Endless Summer' (Blooms on old and new wood.).. really is "endless"... blooms till frost...

yardqueen,
BuggyCrazy has alstroemeria. I bought 12 mixed plants for $36 because I love them all and couldn't choose. But she has others too - red, purple, yellow... Free shipping, i think.

I stuck mine in pots and tubs -- hard to figure out what was up and what was down. But, as Buggy said, they figured it out. in fact, It has only been about 6 weeks and I see lots of little shoots coming up! I have the pots in a sheltered area near the house and greenhouse and will probably leave them there all winter. Can't wait to see what they turn in to! Buggy does a great job with shipping - you'll be thrilled when you see your box! Keep me posted.

Were they nice size? Sounds like they were just the tubers which is fine. If they are coming up, won't they freeze? Are you worried about the summer heat with these? I hope they do well for you and me also!

Zolfo Springs, FL(Zone 9b)

yardqueen, i noticed you had endless summer hydrangea. Would you have any to trade? I have been looking for some!!!

Emory, TX(Zone 8a)

I have made cuttings in the past but have given them away. I don't think I have any in the greenhouse right now. We have had a couple of freezes here so i can't do cuttings now. I can in the spring though. They grow fast and bloom on old and new wood so I have had plants in a four inch pot with blooms ion them! I love mine! I have four of them. What do you have to trade?

Dallas, GA(Zone 7b)

They were just the tubers..But lots of them-- in some cases, just little pieces (these were extras - not counted in the 12).. but even they seem to be coming up! I think you'd be able to plant them in your zone. Mine don't seem to freeze as long as they are in a relatively sheltered area. As to the summer, we had a pot of these growing almost nonstop from May thru September. However, our place is fairly shaded, but you might need to protect them from Texas sun.

yardqueen, I don't have a lot to offer but i have the following:

Yellow alder
Golden dew drop both purple and white
pandora vine
phillippine violet (white)

Emory, TX(Zone 8a)

What color are the Pandorea vine and the Rose of Sharon?

Zolfo Springs, FL(Zone 9b)

Pandoria Vine is pink the Rose of Sharon is double white that changes color in the evening to pink.

Oh my gosh---I really apologize for this "little hi-jack"--- but I DESPERATELY would love to obtain some of the seeds of your double (white to pink) Rose of Sharon (unless you may have any baby saplings available). I do have several things that I may be able to tempt you with to do a trade---plz dmail me if you're interested.

Thank you, and EVERYONE: have a very happy, healthy and safe holiday season!!!
