Dog or Cat Themed Garden Ideas??

I would love to plant a dog/cat themed garden with all of the plants either related to dogs or cats. Unfortunately I have a limited knowledge of plant names, generally I plant something because I like what it looks like and promptly forget what it is called! Can anyone give me some suggestions?

Dog Garden:
Dogwood

Cat Garden:
Cattail
Pussytoes
Pussywillow
