I bought this cutting about 3 weeks ago which I then put it in some water which i changed everyday and then I put it into soil and Here it is now!!!!!
Brugmansia adeline first start!!!!!
Looking good!
We have had Adeline for two years and consider her a better Brug than any of her pod sisters and brothers, Peanut, Pink Smitty and Sam. I am partial to Sam because it was named after one of our dogs but we have had Sam ( the plant ) for three years and have not seen a bloom. Adeline came back from the ground this Spring and seven feet tall. We also have another pod sister, LSDH07 that Delisa has never named. It will bloom any day and I will try to get a picture when it does.

Gosh, three years is a long time to wait. I don't think I could have held out. I didn't last any longer than that with Herrenhauser Garten an it gave me a couple of blooms a year after the first year.
Good for you! It sure looks healthy and strong!
Wow I am impressed with the flower I can not wait for mine to bloom for me. She is growing very well I think........
She will beautiful !
yeah she is and so beautiful to watch her as she unfolds
Does anyone know where to buy Adeline. It is my DD middle name and would love to have her!!
well if you wait till the spring i can send you a cutting for postage....
I could wait til spring, but would buy her now if I could. Long story, but I really need something to remind me of DD. Do you know of any online stores or Ebay who sell her? If not, I can definitely wait. Beggers can't be chosers right?
Thank you for the offer.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!
She is purty. I like your kiwi ti plant too. I have some of those , love the colors.
You sure got your adeline to flower fast what fertilizers/potting soils do you use?
i use miracle grow and fish emulsion........
Im gonna have to move down there just so I can visit all your brugs.
Ken, Adeline is not a pod sister to Peanut and the others.
Adeline is a Pink Lady X Charleston cross.
wow thanks for that imformation Delisa
Open Open Open!
yeah Zz i can not wait for her to open most likely in the next couple of days as she is just now starting to unfold...
Thanks for the corection Delisa.
Well, pensacola?! We are all holding our breaths;-) Did she open? Pics please...
You can't leave us hangin now!! It's gotta be close to open!
I don't know the answer to your question, but I do know that she is absolutely beautiful either way. I reminds me of peaches and cream in the summertime.
Oh no.. too bad. I thought it was kinda weird that you would get buds to hold and bloom so fast. Adeline is famous for dropping buds till she is established.
maybe it is the season....
Has this bloom turned any more pink?
James, can you get a profile pic of the bloom and a shot of the leaves to compare?
