Looking good!

Big Sandy, TX(Zone 8a)

We have had Adeline for two years and consider her a better Brug than any of her pod sisters and brothers, Peanut, Pink Smitty and Sam. I am partial to Sam because it was named after one of our dogs but we have had Sam ( the plant ) for three years and have not seen a bloom. Adeline came back from the ground this Spring and seven feet tall. We also have another pod sister, LSDH07 that Delisa has never named. It will bloom any day and I will try to get a picture when it does.

Gosh, three years is a long time to wait. I don't think I could have held out. I didn't last any longer than that with Herrenhauser Garten an it gave me a couple of blooms a year after the first year.

Good for you! It sure looks healthy and strong!

Pensacola, FL(Zone 8b)

Here is an updated picture it sure is still doing well...........

Adeline is ideal for those desiring a large, multi-skirted medium pink bloom. The flower's form is unsurpassed. It is easy to root. Doesn't depend on a lot of water to stay growing - even in the hottest temps. It grows like a weed and produces nice, fat seed pods.

Birmingham, AL(Zone 7b)

I could wait til spring, but would buy her now if I could. Long story, but I really need something to remind me of DD. Do you know of any online stores or Ebay who sell her? If not, I can definitely wait. Beggers can't be chosers right?

Thank you for the offer.

Ken, Adeline is not a pod sister to Peanut and the others.

I don't know the answer to your question, but I do know that she is absolutely beautiful either way. I reminds me of peaches and cream in the summertime.

Lodi, CA(Zone 9b)

Oh no.. too bad. I thought it was kinda weird that you would get buds to hold and bloom so fast. Adeline is famous for dropping buds till she is established.

Big Sandy, TX(Zone 8a)

This Brug looks a little too orange for Adeline.

Lodi, CA(Zone 9b)

James, can you get a profile pic of the bloom and a shot of the leaves to compare?
