Mirabilis longiflora

I guess for alot of DG members you would consider this a perennial. Because of where I live, I consider this a bulb. I started the seeds probably in Jan/Feb and look at my baby. See how fat her bottom is....lol.

I just dug it up. Here is what the whole plant looks like. It finally has some buds on it, so I'm hoping it will continue growing in the basement.

Oh, it will continue to grow, alright, lol. I've tried to kill these things and haven't been successful. They normally reach blooming size in less than two months for me from seed. Donna, if you ever want any more, or if you loose that one, I can send you all that you want, lol. I love the flowers, though!
