Hello! I also asked for your mexican sunflower from your other thread. May I ask to be added to this list also? Also, If I am getting 2 sase from you, do I send one for each or will you put both of them in one envelope? Thankyou for generosity! Andrea
Although I am in zone 5 I would like to grow the TS Hibiscus as a potted plant to bring in to the conservatory winters. Am sending a D mail to be put on your list and will post my SASE tomorrow.
Sincerest thanks.

bump . . . so this offer does not fall through the cracks.
I messed up and forgot to send the envelope! It's sitting here and will go out tomorrow So sorry -- I am sure it's very annoying when people don't come through. :(

Hi
I received your seeds today. Thank you ever so much. I am really looking forward to having a few of your beauties in my yard.
Can I plant this now indoors with heat and lights? Also, once grown; is it like other hibiscus (dies back every year? Since I am in zone 5, I guess it will be potted and brought in every year. We have a glass room heated to 55 degrees in winter -so will that be ok for it?
Bless you for your kindness.

Helen -
honest answer to growing it indoors now: i dunno. i've only ever raised these puppies outdoors. heck, give it a go and if they croak lemme know and i will replenish you in time for sowing after the last frost. alright?
yes to the dying back when the colder weather comes ... and yes to keeping it potted in your area and keeping it indoors through the frost season. but hey! unlike other hibiscus plants you may have, this one is not goofy if you give it plenty of water - - in fact, it is good to remember that it's also known as the "Swamp Mallow" ... there's a reason for that, y'know? it won't get root rot as so many other in the H. genus will do.
another thing you need to know ... the momma plant is currently 12 ft. tall ... you might want to put one of your strongest puppies into the ground next spring after the last frost - - let it do it's thing and leave it outside through the 2008-2009 winter after mulching it really well - - this plant is hardy down to -10 ºF . . . maybe it will surprise you in the spring of 2009.

LazLo, I got your seeds in the mail today. I wanted to thank you for sharing your seeds with me! It's such a wonderful thing to get seeds in the mail instead of the usual bills and flyers. Thanks again, and Take care. Andrea
