Many of you remember that I was moving from FL back to NC and I didn't know what to do with this brug. Didn't know if I should take a cutting or dig it up. After your good advice, I dug it up and moved it. It was in a pot for about 2 1/2 months and was stressed, had mites, and lost all its lower leaves (used to be very fully leafed out). Fortunately, this is the outcome. Now the question..... do ya'll think this is a Maya or Peaches n' Cream? When fully open, the blooms are an off white and have a wonderful lemony fragrance. Starts as light yellow, becomes off white then ends up light orange. I'm so happy it's made it as this was the first year after 3 seasons that it bloomed!

Which one is this?
Hi Barbara, I'm so happy you finally got blooms! I've never had trouble with her blooming.... well IF it is a Maya... Here's my maya, I don't have a P&C to compare with. I'm not sure if there is a way to confirm which it is, but Maya is my favorite. Mine recently indured a hail storm, but it didn't stop her biggest last flush of the season.
Hey, I found this, hope it helps... here's another maya pic in different lighting....

WOW, AuntB! That is beautiful! Sigh.....I can only hope........
Yes, I saw that link comparing Maya and P & C, but I couldn't really tell. I wonder if the fragrance is different on each of them? Maybe someone will chime in and give us more clues.
In the photo, yours looks very white. My blooms are an off-white then go to peach -- more like your first photo.

The pic of the whole plant was taken a day or 2 after the one with just the blooms... Those 2 bottom limbs are so heavy with blooms I'm afraid they will break off if we get wind and/or rain, but they haven't (so far)... Still makes her look kind of funny. As I've thought about it this morning, maybe yours is a P&C, I've read they are not as easy to come into bloom... maybe I'll post on the other thread and ask Anaid why she believes she has both? At first I thought the P&C had more definate, more vivid color markings that Maya, but I'm not sure. Hey! I've been to Sunset Beach! My kids and I picked up shells! Pretty!
