i want to know if anyone has any hatching eggs available and are willing to swap me for white champion bloodline silkie or white sq F12 showgirl eggs. if so what breeds do you have, are they pure breed and how many eggs do ya have available? please post pics of breeders and i'll post pics also later of mine (got to find my pics).
i like most anything but here are some breeds i'd like to get or have a new bloodline added. bantam salmon favorolle, polish, d'uccles, standard color silkies, frizzles-polish, cochin, mabe others, bantam longtails and sizzles. will consider other breeds.

We had talked before about trying to work some swaps in the spring, I think it will be so much fun !!! I know I definitely want some wellsumer eggs next year.
I am trying desperately to avoid new chicks since fall is here.... it's gonna be a long winter...lol.
I have a pair of banty salmon favorolles and may be able to send eggs in the spring if you dont' find any sooner. She is gone broody at the moment and trying to hatch golf balls since I took her eggs from her.

i had gotten banty salmons but of all that hatched and made it due to humidity i got 3 roos and a female,lol. so i got a pair too. the other boys my friend is to get this weekend. next year if you want to swap that would be great as that would give me 2 bloodlines instead of 1 and i will have eggs for other breeds then too not just them. i have a white silkie who will not stop trying to hatch air,lol i have tried everything to break her.

what color japs do you have? i have always liked them but haven't had the pleasure of haveing them. why are ur buff silkies not so showy? i love buffs!! i have 3 so far but they have a touch of blue in the wings i got to get out of there babies come spring when i start to breed them so some of my splashs will be penned with them to dilute the blue for a purer color. are the oeg bantam or standard size?

ya just had to temp me with pics, rotfl. what to do what to do, hmm. i love the japs!! just gorgous!!! i'd love to trade for both colors of them. i love the millie too! is she booted/feather legged or clean leg? since she is sitting i can't tell,lol. dh would be interested in eggs from her for his pens if she has a pure mate. let me know about her and i'll ask him about her eggs again.
as for the silkies they are cutties!! i love their name too! i have a friend with peeps comeing out her ears for buffs and buff showgirls and slpashes so i agreed to go visit next week to get some babies from her so those i probably won't need now. i only need a few to add to my buff pen and they should be good to go. with the combo of hers added to what i have i'm hopeing by next spring to have hatching eggs and peeps for that color and looking just like my whites they are really close but not where i want them just yet.

I've got BB Red Game Fowl in well started (5 weeks old), also10 day old & in 2 weeks I'll have another 10 or so hatching. We're able to trading chicks. This breed is nearly as broody (if not more-so) as any breed of chicken. They are fairly pitiful egg layers ...... 40 or so eggs a year but what usually happens is they lay 10 eggs and hatch them ... raise them for 6 weeks and then ..... lay 10 more eggs and hatch them and raise them for 6 weeks. After 2 broods ... the summer is over and they stop laying.

OMG!! rotfl, i am so drooling over ur polish it is so not funny!!! i LOVE Polish can't say it enough,lol. i had to sell all of my bantam polish and polish frizzles last year so this is my new flock of them i started with chicks and hatching eggs for r/c reds, w/c blues and w/c blacks i think all standards but i lost alot of them due to heat waves since my pet sitter kept forgetting to open the drop doors while we where gone on vacation(i was freaking and heart broken!!). i'm down to 2-3 each of the reds and blues but would love to hatch any colors i can for breeders next year, mine are to young this year. anytime ya want to swap eggs for polish let me know :0)
my showgirls started with a silkie turken cross(same thing as a NN) but have been breed back to silkies over and over to keep as much of the silkie heritage as possible in them. mine are 11th generation so the babies they hatch will be 12th gen. at the point they are now, they are what i consider a silkie with the NN gene because they nolonger throw most of the turken part of them it is more silkie. they all come out either silkies or showgirls with silkie feathering. here is a pic of a baby to help show ya what i mean. at the moment these are the only 2 breeds i have laying.
next spring i will have eggs or chicks for- bantam salmon favorolles, white silkies/showgirls, buff silkie/sg's, splash silkie/sg's, partriage silkies, r/c red polish-LF, w/c blue polish-LF, porcelain and golden neck d 'uccles. i'm working on doing a blue/black/splash sizzle pen and hopefully a few others as well. so keep me in mind for spring trades to if anyone might be looking for any of these.
let me check the bator situation see how much room i got for eggs. i have one almost full of eggs and one set for a hatcher and i think one not set up yet but i was thinking i had 4 bators,lol. i think the first ones are due in 3 days to move but i got speratic hatches in there since i'm hatching whites and sg's for me and other color silkies for my friend. we'll all check callenders and see when a good ship day would be for everyone so we know when the bators have room or need warmed up. also see how many eggs we need or have available to swap.

Here is "Popcorn" and "Pickles" , they are very active Milles and it takes a lot to get a Still photo! They are Clean legged and very Colorful!
Oh the Mille Fleur are just beautiful! And those cuckoos! I've seen the polish with black feathers but that speckling is so neat!
I also accidentally met the woman that showed the buff laced polish at the fair! They are soooo pretty.
Those naked necks are so interesting. Kind of odd to see that black neck. LOL
The smooth feathered heads of those bantam whites is also really neat. I'm used to seeing the puffy silkie feathers.
And the Japanese bantams! Somebody remind me I have enough birds!

I would love to trade too. And if I don't have anything that you want can you sell me some showgirl eggs? I would LOVE to hatch some next year! I am going to breed my silkies in the small pens like a read to. They say to put a roo with a couple of hens in a small enclosed pen (and it doesn't have to be tall because they cannot fly) and keep them there for awhile then pu them back. Well thats what I read anyways. Hopefully after the next couple of weeks I will have more options to trade!!
ya all are chicken fanciers as much as i am, lol. no worries on intrusion and thank you for your kind words for all our babies. i love to see what others think of my birds, i rarely get to share pics of them with those onlines cause my ports are messed up can't upload, it's so nice to have others to share them with. there was some i didn't know i'd like to raise that much till i saw some of the pics you all posted i must say it is hard to know what to do,lol. dh will flip if he has to built to many more pens before winter,lol.
