Who is this, with my BST cats?

Manning, SC(Zone 8a)

I brought in 8 more BST cats last week, from off of one of my parsley plants. They were in different stages, so four have pupated and there are four more still munching on parsley. But one of them looks so different, it's so interesting!! He's really beautiful, look at the contrast between these two! Could it be another species? Seems kind of unlikely, but the colouring is so different! Maybe he's just a beautiful mutant.....

Wow, Thea, he really is a different color! I know there's a contrast if one is in the shade vs sun, but that is a major difference!

I wonder if the black one will be a light brown chrysalis, and the lighter color will turn out to be a green chrysalis. Has anyone determined the difference in colors yet? So far, the two BST that eclosed were males, and their chrysalises were green.

They look healthy and happy Thea!!

I had one of the BST cats that was black also this year. I didn't see any difference in the two when they pupated or in the adult. I couldn't find anything that addressed the difference either.
