do you use flavored olive oil?

East Texas, United States(Zone 8a)

I was visiting our local farmers market and this guy had this brand for sale. I bought a sampler which contained orange, lemon, jalapeño, basil, rosemary and garlic flavored oils. I was told the garlic, rosemary, whatever is pressed along with the olives, rather than enhancing with drops of garlic, rosemary, etc. oil.

I dipped some ciabatta bread in the garlic olive oil and it was divine. This morning I fried some eggs w/ the jalapeño oil and it gave me a tummy ache. It wasn't really spicy, but it just didn't settle well.

They oils are supposed to be fantastic drizzled on meat, fish and poultry before baking or for marinades.
