The season will soon be over and this morning I was in the garden looking at my poor brugs and what a surprise, after all summer with no flowers two of my brugs are loaded with buds, I guess the rain we eventualy got, and the cool weather did the trick, now I hope they have a chance to bloom, if so I will post pictures.
Almost over
That's great news, Doris! You lost me somewhere down the road, though. You actually got rain, and now it's cooler?? I'm envious!!
All of my brugs, including two seedlings are loaded with buds. Day Dreams and Adeline are certainly going to put on a show -- if they don't drop all their buds again. :(
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for ya, Doris!! Hang in there!!
I hope you both have some big flushes. I have lots of buds and am not sure they will make it to bloom unless I drag all the potted ones into the garage and back out again. I probably will do that since we have had so few blooms at our house this year.
Thanks, Shirley.
Let's see.... I've got 20 brugs that are loaded with buds. Two of those are seedlings -- one seedling is a double, and the other seedling is at least a triple (had to tear buds apart, ya know). Of course, it's 93 degrees now and we haven't seen rain since September 9, and that was only half an inch at that. I'm really, really anxious to see these seedlings bloom, because they are very special crosses. And, of course, it wouldn't hurt to see Day Dreams and Adeline bloom either. Both Day Dreams and Adeline have tons of buds on them!
You're making my head spin with your talking about doubles, triples, blooms.....sigh!
:) Donna
