New to Brugs, Question

Blanco, TX(Zone 9a)

I ordered seeds of brug suaveolens, listed only as pink.
Does suaveolens refer to a specific color?

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

No, twohawk. Suaveolens doesn't refer to a color and just because the seeds came from a pink Suaveolens Brugmansia doesn't mean your blooms will be pink.

Thank you, Ahelms. What other colors could it be if it was listed as
seeds for pink? Are all seeds from brugs subject to color variations
from the parent plant?

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

It could be several colors (yellow, pink, peach/orange) but the most likey color will be white. Brugmansia seeds aren't true to the parent plant as a general rule..

Alvin, TX(Zone 9a)

But trust me - whatever the color, you will fall in love!!

I am going to try Datura seeds, again. I think I steamed mine
to death. I think both the brugs and datura are really awesome
flowers. Can't wait to find out what they smell like. Thanks for the
info.
