Rabbits and water lettuce?

Hello all,

In trying to find the water that once existed where the Water Lettuce has
now taken over, I was just wondering if this is something one can feed
pets?

There has never been any sprays or chemicals on the lettuce, but I
didn't want to feed it to Bun unless it was safe for his system.
