Is there a cat therapist on board?

Hulbert, OK(Zone 7a)

My mother's cat is fifteen years old. He looks
a lot like Sybiltwo's cat. My mother could not get
over how much Singer and Muff look alike, right down
to the chubby tummy in the same color, the eyes,
everything. Very close resemblance.

Years ago my parents gave him a big rubber fishing
worm and the fun hasn't stopped.

He picks these worms up, has a ball playing with,
tossing them in the air. Then, when the fun is all over with,
he puts the worms in his dry food dish.

Over the years, he has always had two wormies, both
can be found in his food dish. Mom and Pop can put the
worms anywhere else, but the cat will put them back in his
food bowl.

Recently, Ma bought him five or six new worms, this time in
bright fluorescent colors. Sure enough, when they arrived home
a few nights ago, Muff had eight worms in his food bowl.

Has anyone else seen their cats doing such a thing? What
on earth could he be thinking? Maybe he tries to feed the worms?

LOL
