What did you edit out, Miss Tussee? Where did your roots go?

With 85% of the leaf dried and crumbling while being in water to root, I decided to try one last method I had read about. I placed the stem in straight perlite, put the pot in a ziplock bag, and placed it in the gh. This morning I was clearing and moving things in the gh and grabbed this pot to throw away. As I picked it up I saw this tiny bit of red and thought that's strange, the leaf surely has dried away by now. I opened the bag, and there sat the sweetest wee new leaf emerging from the stem. The day has been very stressful but that little leaf has brought me great satisfaction and a release of tension. A true celebration of life.
