pH testing

I purchased the rapitest pH kit, the $1.47 kind. The mix turned blue instead of the orange and green on the package. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

I'd bet the blue was supposed to match the green - maybe it was a little old.

If you want your soil tested, I recommend getting a sample to your local extension - it will give you more info than the pH, for only a few bucks more. pH is important, but only one piece of the puzzle.
