CLOSED: Mystery TB Iris's for Trade

La Pine, OR(Zone 6a)

I have 3 nice sized rhizomes left for trade. Here's the catch tho I don't know what they are. My blooms were killed off from the frost this spring. I know I had blues, purples, and yellows. So the actual names are a mystery to me for this year anyway. All of my Iris's came from my mother and she had some of them for years. Some of her's were older styles and mostly from Schreiner. I would love to trade for a few daylilies the color doesn't matter.

I have orange daylillies you can have. Planted by my grandmother long before I was born, so I have no idea of the variety name. There's a few random yellow ones thrown in, but they're all mixed up together & I have no way of telling them apart except by the bloom. How many would you like? (Please don't say 3 - seems hardly worth digging up....say 3 dozen, maybe? ;-) ) How about some pink oxalis, too?

Ok...don't twist my arm 3 dz lilies is fine and a few oxalis wouldn't hurt. :) I have a large area for them. If you would like a few more Iris's I'll go dig up a few more since your very generous or if you would like something else on my trade list I can throw something else in too! What do ya think?

YAY!! A little explanation...

When my grandmother was living on the land where we are now, she had mostly these 2 flowers 0xalis and orange daylillies. She wasn't much of a gardener otherwise..

Nor was she a terribly CAREFUL gardener..so when she 'weeded' her gardens, she often pulled up 'good' bulbs with the weeds. Then, she'd toss the weeds back by the back fence (which is now in the middle of what is MY yard), or behind a tree (back of my yard), or to the pigs (dead center), or wherever...and they'd GROW there....

So I have little spots of daylillies ALL OVER.

Oxalis is a little different - around here, it's practically invasive. And the bulbs are teeny-tiny...So you try to clear it out of the bed, but there's no POSSIBLE way to get ALL the bulbs, so you miss some. And those grow and multiply... And while you're weeding, a bulb gets pulled up, but you miss it when you collect the weeds for disposal, so it grows there just OUTSIDE the bed and multiplies, and multiplies....

There is a front bed that I have attempted to rid of oxalis for about 3-4 times now...and it is COVERED in it still (as in can't-even-see-the-ground covered)

So, anyway....You'd actually be helping me get my yard into some sort of order :-)
