Native Plant Sale Saturday September 29th
I forgot to say that all the plants were grown organically at the park's greenhouse from local seed and cuttings, so they are acclimated to this area.
Josephine.

The sale starts at 10 to 1.00 I will be at the greenhouse one of the team.
Sorry I missed you Deb, but the DH and I did make the sale and took home some goodies! We need to have a guided tour of the Wildscape one of these days.
Thank You Sheila and Deb, the two of you were excellent customers, I hope you had a good time. We didn't sell all the plants but we did very well.
Deb even got to take a picture of a Zebra Longwing butterfly, which is rather rare in this area of Texas, I have seen them there a few times.
I ended up exausted but very happy, it was a very good day.
Yes, let us schedule a day for the wildscape tour.
Josephine.
Me too Sheila.
I have gone late too many times to things like this and was disappointed to have missed out on something I wanted. To keep maintenance of my happy self I learned to getting there early. :-). If it weren't for your dmail I wouldn't have made it at all..
The people who knew and didn't go really missed out most. I'm so glad you got some goodies!
Next time you and Molly do that Josephine, let me know bc I want to help out any way I can. Serious!

Ohh! Wow Deb! Great picture and how lucky you are to have gotten to see it! I didn't realize we had any of those in our area. DH took some pictures, but I haven't looked, need to do that now.
Oh Deb, that is so neat Thank you I am so glad you got such good pictures, that was really something.
Josephine.
Josephine, this is my first hearing about this... so sorry ... maybe next time. :( I been so busy ... I dont get on as often as I should. Beautiful Butterfly! Which reminds me I saw this teeny little birds sucking necter out of one of my Hosta flowers I never seen a real one before. I forget the name ... its the little tiny bird that look like its just hanging in the air.
That was a Humming Bird Sylvia, or Hummer as they call it for short.
Yes it was ... i sure wish i had my camera out. Linda (Smockect) would have love that. she has a hummer feeder on her place.
Hey you Sylvia!
Surly they will be back... keep your camera handy, you never know what you'll see. hehe!
Hey I knew ZLWs come to Tarrant Co., but never had seen one. I would have not noticed that one if Josephine hadn't said anything. I had the camera around my neck. See the first view up there? That pose makes them hard to find.
:-D
I had seen the Zebra Longwing there two or three times before, and boy was I shocked the first time I saw it, I was jumping up and down, I was so excited, thank you for the picture again Deb.
