Anybody Want Some Iris?

Denton, TX(Zone 7a)

I have two grocery sacks, full of Iris Rhizomes. They are Yellow, White, and Purple...

Crosby, TX(Zone 9a)

Just wondering what type of iris (bearded?) they are - I would probably be very interested.

Yes, they are bearded iris..they are very nice. I had a friend clear out a bed...and there were this many! I plan to put some back in the bed, but not a fraction of what I have,,,how many do you want? I asked my yard guy that question, and he said he wanted 3 of them...three!

I can vouch for Melva's iris plants. She kindly let me dig some up a month ago. I planted them almost on top of the soil (maybe half an inch of soil covering the rhizomes). They have all taken and are shooting up new growth.

Thanks again Melva

You are very welcome I have lots of other plants too...Rose of Sharon, Turk's Cap, Sweet Autumn Clematis to name just a few...

I would love as many as I could get - I've just gotten into the iris this past fall and I absolutely love them. Dmail me with how much I owe you and an address, and I will get it right out.

Thanks so much,
Connie
