Hoya sp. EG 00897

Saint Petersburg, FL(Zone 9b)

This was a total surprise for me, Hoya sp EG 00897 bloomed for me for the first time. I had no Idea as to what color or size this hoya would be. I've always liked the foliage and Its an easy one to grow. It also has a delicate scent.

That's beautiful, reminds me of pentaphlebia. I love the combination yellow with white. The leaves are compact on it too. Thanks for the picture.

Very nice flower Ric. I'm glad some of you are getting blooms because I sure haven't had any to speak of this year!!!!!

I did notice today upon doing one of my many daily walk throughs of the gh that my H. graveolens and my H. vitiensis both have new peduncles forming on them. This will be a first time for both so I have my fingers crossed that they will continue to grow and develop buds and then maybe ,just maybe, i'll have something to post to the October blooms thread!!!!

I've got more hoyas blooming right now at one time than i've had all spring and summer long. Currently the following hoyas are blooming for me---fungii--obovata--kerii-pink-silver-- and several others have buds.

Thanks Cindy and Awanda, I like Yellow flowers as well. I think the leaves look like pentaphlebia but a much lighter green.

David, sounds you are getting ready for a bumper crop of flowers next spring.

Thanks Mel, you are too kind.....I'll post new garden pics....now that I have more shade in the garden, I'm beginning to place hoyas all over. The seem to like to my arica palms.
