Since the weather has been so HOT, and DRY here my Brugs really suffered. I only had two plants bloom out of 35 this one I purchased and it was labeled Orange, it is a pale yellow, but the streaks on the bloom is Orange although it looks a darker yellow, does anyone else have this Brug.
Only my second bloom this year
So pretty Doris! It will probably finish getting color soon. I bet it smells wonderful!!
Doris, so sorry you have not had a good blooming season. These plants are so demanding of certain things like water, fertilizer, and the right sun exposure...far more effort than many of the brugs. are worth. I think your bloom is lovely and I like the orange streaks.

Doris, your brug is beautiful. Joan
I hope you have time to see more blooms before your first frost. I looked up 'Orange' and found two cultivars by that name. One is a flava and one is an aurea, but they don't have much information to go along with them at this time. The flava was found by the Preissel bros.
Doris, this one is close. http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/53824/
