need to move 3 blueberries...

Lumberton, TX(Zone 8b)

I have three dwarf blueberry bushes and I need to move them. They've only been in the ground a year and I'm anxious enough about this as it is. What is an OPTIMAL time coming up for transplanting? I'm not in any great hurry; if October is better, I'll wait! TIA!!!

I'm pretty sure now is not the time... according to the Jack Pyle book you should plant berries in the 3rd quarter (full moon) phase. The next full moon is September 26th. But this next full moon in in Aries and that's not good...

Now if I haven't confused you enough you can't say I didn't try *LOL*

So far it doesn't look like there is a good time the rest of this month to transplant. Maybe next month, I hope Dusty checks in - she knows
I wish I could be more help but I'm still learning

Me, too! When you have to keep checking different charts and make sure Pluto is not retrograding into Uranus (please say that out loud) it gets overwhelming!

Thanks for the input -- I'll at least wait until Dusty shows up. Hope nothing is going wrong with all she has going.

Dusty? Are you safe? Are you sound? Are you whole? Are you well?

I miss Dusty....
I think she is just real busy with her move

Okay, I checked this calendar I have, and the best time coming up to move perennials is the 26th. Anyone have any comments on that? I'd love to move the blueberries, pomegranate, and roses NOW but I'll wait if it's better for them in 3 weeks.

Just an update -- I did move them, and they're doing great! I was a sort-of-believer before, but I'm A Believer now! So I'll take those last two roses out of the pots and into the ground either Nov. 10 or 18. It's nice to have a Plan. :)
