Lebug, if you've got more seeds my butterflies would love some. I haven't grow this yet but have wanted to badly.

Deborah

Greenville, IN(Zone 6a)

I think I have enough seeds for almost every body on DG's lol Send me a sabe ;o)

You'll love this plant I have some growing in full sun and some in afternoon shade, I think the ones in the afternoon shade do better as far as watering goes but they still don't need that much water and they are so beautiful even if they are a weed! lol

They are so easy to WS, I think every seed comes up! I just barley cover them.

Cordele, GA(Zone 8a)

I have read that this plant is a butterfly magnet! I'll get an SASBE right out to you. Thank you some much for making this offering.

Deborah

Greenville, IN(Zone 6a)

You are very welcome! Yes the butterflies LOVE it, I think it's the best plant I have for butterflies other than zinnias for nectar, I'm planting more myself for next year.

Marietta, GA(Zone 7b)

I have seeds to, but mine never come up! I think I might have too much mulch in the area? I was cleaning underneath and it rained joe pye weed.. and yes, i really like it too. :)

Greenville, IN(Zone 6a)

I think my mulch keeps a lot of plants from reseeding but I gotta have it some beds aren't mulched and I have had to water them so much more this year this fall they are getting mulch!

I WS my joe pye seeds and I think every one comes up, not sure about WS this year though I've heard we are going to have a dry winter too and not sure if I want to water all of those jugs all winter long and worry about the seeds all winter too, it's bad enough worrying about them when it does rain lol

Thank you Lea. My vaction trip made me lose all track of time. Got home and completely lost where I had left off. Still can't seem to catch up on things. LOL

(Pat) Kennewick, WA(Zone 5b)

LeBug, I've been wanting to know what that plant is and not knowing how to find out! I would LOVE to have some seed! I'll go buy some bubble envelopes!

Greenville, IN(Zone 6a)

No big hurry :)

Cordele, GA(Zone 8a)

Thank you so much for the seeds, Lea. I know I'm losing my mind for sure and I'll not go on another trip for a long time. It's not at all like me not to say thank you on the day I received your seeds. Got them way back when, on the day I returned from Savannah. So sorry for the delay in sending thanks.

Deborah

Greenville, IN(Zone 6a)

Deborah that's fine don't sweat it lol You having blooms next year is thanks enough :)

Did you get any seeds in Savannah? That would be fun, I bet you didn't have any time to look for any lol I know I'm very guilty of not stopping and smelling the roses so to speak lol We are always in a rush!

Cordele, GA(Zone 8a)

Oh gosh did I ever look for seeds and felt guilty just for thinking about snatching seeds. The Marriott's Hibiscus, Rose of Sharon, Orlander and azaleas were all in bloom. I was looking towards the bottom of the plants for suckers, new grow and everything. Came home with a piece of Sleepy Hibiscus. Now I'm waiting for the Fine in the mail for branch breaking.

Greenville, IN(Zone 6a)

You are so bad Deborah! I don't even do that lol I do get the seeds and I feel guilty for doing that lol

Marietta, GA(Zone 7b)

you go girl!

New Port Richey, FL(Zone 9b)

Lea,
Am I to late? Would I be able to start them now?How long does it take for them to bloom? Don

Greenville, IN(Zone 6a)

I just WS mine I'm not sure about your zone you live in my wanna be zone lol Maybe you should ask someone where you live they are for zones 4-8 but they might come back for you depending on your area I guess. They bloom here in late summer the first year.

I'm in the exchange send me a sabe and try them :) I have plenty!

(Pat) Kennewick, WA(Zone 5b)

I got mine yesterday and was embarrased to see it looks like it cost you an additional 7 cents to mail it back to me! I THOUGHT I had sent EXTRA postage so I was mortified to see additional postage... I'm so sorry! Pat

Greenville, IN(Zone 6a)

That's fine don't worry about it it happens :) It's just some way the post office has to do them now, crazy I know lol Seven cents didn't break the bank lol You just enjoy them!

(Pat) Kennewick, WA(Zone 5b)

Thank you but it still was embarrassing!

Greenville, IN(Zone 6a)

I know lol But it does happen esp. here lately you weren't the only one does that help :) I don't mind really!

(Pat) Kennewick, WA(Zone 5b)

Thank you for being so gracious! It shouldn't have cost YOU to mail me seeds!!! LOL
