Can anybody tell me about scrophularia nodosa variegata? I can't seem to find much on the Internet about its care and feeding.
I have one growing in a sunny spot in light clay and it's done great. But should I cut it back hard this fall to keep it looking good?
I bought it for its foliage and in anticipation of the beautiful buds opening up. But the flowers don't get very big. However, it was a big hit with the bees this year.

Hi Kathy,
I would cut it back either in Fall or late Winter myself, but you might get more detailed information if you pose this question on the Herb forum.
On a totally unrelated note ... there are some *GREAT* Dressage Barns in Woodinville. That's a nice area!
Thank you. That makes sense - I'd been scanning the forums so quickly that I didn't even SEE the herb forum. I'll post there.
So are you from Woodinville or have you visited? We do have lots of horse barns and I do know of a few that teach dressage, but I didn't know that Woodinville had such a good reputation. I love it - don't own a horse, but wish I did. I hope to start taking lessons again in the next year, if i can get myself back into shape.

Well, my brother lives in the area, so while out visiting five or six years ago when we were contemplating moving to Seattle, I went in search of the local dressage scene. Didn't take me long to find Woodinville. Come visit us on the Equine forum!
Cool. Yes, that sounds like a great idea. See you there!!
