Attn: Question for BARRY SCHLUETER

Hi Barry,

Nice to see you posting. Your hibiscus are amazing. I look at your photo album at least once every few weeks.

I am soooooooooo in love with your Amazon Queen, but being I live in South Florida, I have no where to buy this one. I can't find a nursery or grower for Amazon Queen, and it is the one hibiscus I keep hoping will show up, for sale, somewhere.

Do you know anyone/anywhere (by phone or internet) I may be able to purchase one from?

Glad to see you here, Barry. I miss you in the THML list since years. Luckily, Françoise in France is always showing me your new varieties.
Just a question. To my knowlegde, Amazon Queen is much more older than when it got patented and I have the feeling that it can be acquired in Europe (I don't remember where). Should it be under patent also in Europe?

Regards

Hi, Carlos.
Francoise is a dear friend and trials many of my seedlings in France. She shares those that are released, and I'm glad she does. To my knowledge plant patents in this country apply ONLY in this country, so Amazon Queen wood that happens to be in Europe can be used to grow and sell plants, IF I am correct about patents. The patent in this country will not expire for . . ten years or so.
peace and health,
Barry
