CLOSED: Pond Plants for Postage
are they hearty in the winter for zone 5 or do you have to bring them in?? If they'll survive I think i'm interested...
just thinking out loud though, if they are water plants and we have to winterize the pond in the winter will they make it? can you give me a little info about how to keep them through winter?
I looked up a pic of this plant and fell in love with the way the flower looked and thought I could keep it in a container. But as I read further I found this notice:
This plant is not native to North America and it is illegal to possess or transport this species in Texas. Please report any sightings of this plant to Texas Park and Wildlife Department.
:( Im broken hearted
not hardy to zone 5, and yup, sad but true, cant send to TX. They are terrible nuisance in warmer zones.
Alas, they will most likely end up on the compost heap.
