(Cathy), MO

I'm not picky. What do you have? If you'd rather we can do postage too

Crosbyton, TX(Zone 7a)

i am still pretty basic....i would love postage if you don't mind:)

altho, who knows...look at my haves and i would be most happy to trade....so excited!!!

Crosbyton, TX(Zone 7a)

and to tell you how stupid i am....is the lily an asiatic, oriental, trumphet, or a daylily??

Corning, NY(Zone 5a)

Hi,
I may want some, not sure if it is the same thing as I have from my Co-op, I have Naked Lady Belladonna, I thought they said not hardy for me, but your Resurrection Lily is hardy for me? Would like some if it is not what I already have, will check it out later, as I am off to bed. Thanks for the offer..:)Anita

(Cathy), MO

Anita I'm not sure if it's what you have or not. It was here when we moved into the house so not sure about hardiness. I'll post a pic of one patch of them this year.

Sticks, The White Edged Swedish Ivy or the Josephs Coat either one looks interesting.

I would love some for postage or trade. Depends on what you'd like, and whether it's dried up here or not:-)
Bev

Crosbyton, TX(Zone 7a)

josephs coat or swedish ivy...i can do both......yay!!!

(Cathy), MO

Bev, how about either the Lemon Lime hosta or the Parky's Prize?

Sticks, are you in the address exchange? If not dmail me your address.

Garner, NC(Zone 7b)

I should have plenty of Lemon Lime. The other is having a tough time due to its drought-prone location at the roots of my oak tree:( and I hate to disturb it until maybe later in the fall. I could send some LL and perhaps something else...Do you have room for some pinella tripartita-green dragon? or perhaps begonia grandis?

(Cathy), MO

I'll make room! Are you in the exchange?

Garner, NC(Zone 7b)

I am! and take it that you are as well.

Crosbyton, TX(Zone 7a)

i am also....thank you so much:)

(Cathy), MO

Yes, I'm also in the exchange. I'll let these dry a couple of days and get yours mailed out Monday Bev and Joni.
Thanks!

Kennebunk, ME(Zone 5a)

Cat, if I'm reading the hardiness map correctly, are you in zone 5b/6a?
I am in zone 5. I once planted Resurrection lilies and they never resurrected *lol*
IF you still have some for postage (save me for last), I would love to try them again.
If you don't that is OK too :)

Thank you so much,
Kim

Corning, NY(Zone 5a)

Hi Cat,
Thanks for the PIC, I see now we do not have the same thing:) I would love some as long as they are really hardy in my zone 5 garden, Could I tempt you with Daylilies? I will be digging a few next week, will be my last trade of the year:( Darn winter, LMK..Thanks :)Anita
P. S. Will be digging:
Strawberry Candy
Daring Deception
Vera Biaglo
Dewey Sweet

Corning, NY(Zone 5a)

Hi Cat,
Have to admit, I am a bit confused, at closer look they may be the same, as I said if they are hardy to zone 5 I would love some.

This is what I have, I need HELP from anyone that can tell me if they are the same, Thanks

(Cathy), MO

Kim, yes we can do postage if you like. I have 3 left. I don't know what it will be but I can send them and let you know.

Anita, they do look similar. Your pink looks a little darker, but that could be the camera taking the picture! LOL. I have no idea how many varities there are of these things, so I'm no help. If you want to try them, any of the daylilies would be fine with me.

Cathy

Hannibal, NY(Zone 6a)

I would love some too. Would you like some siberian iris or some phlox? I have some nice new fancy phlox. Hellebores?

(Cathy), MO

Polly, you are # 5 if Kim & Anita still want theirs. How about the Hellebores?

Hannibal, NY(Zone 6a)

Sure, a couple of phlox too? They're really nice.

That would be great. I looked you up in address exchange. (I'm in there too). Will send them out Monday

Hannibal, NY(Zone 6a)

Same here. Thank you, I've always wanted to try these. I know they bloom in our area, so Anita, I think you'll be fine also.

(Cathy), MO

Maybe mulch them a little during the winter? I've had these in the last 2 or 3 places I've lived and never done a thing with them. They just keep coming back up. Actually, we mowed some down this year and they bloomed anyway! They are in a really bad spot and I was too lazy to dig them up and move them before now! :-)

Hannibal, NY(Zone 6a)

We have substantial snow cover, and I think Anita would too, which acts as a mulch, and allows us to grow things which wouldn't be quite hardy here.

(Cathy), MO

We actually had significant snow last winter. I loved it! The winters here seem to have gotten milder the last 10 or 15 years. I can do without ice, but I've always loved snow.

Corning, NY(Zone 5a)

Thanks all, Thats great news,
Have my 2 1/2 yo Grandson this weekend, so we will work out the details first of the week, I look very forward to growing your Lilies, Have a great day. :)Anita

(Cathy), MO

Have fun Anita!

Kennebunk, ME(Zone 5a)

I will give mine up to be sure Polly gets some Cat. I simply would like some if you have any left but it's more important to me that Polly get some so if you don't have enough, that's OK I can wait until next year or whatever.

Kim

(Cathy), MO

Not a problem Kim. There's enough for you both

Kennebunk, ME(Zone 5a)

That's GREAT :)
Just let me know what I owe you and how you would like me to pay you OK? I have PayPal if you prefer that but can also send check/cash. Either way :)
Thank you SO MUCH! Maybe if I plant these in a different garden they will "resurrect" for me :)
Can you tell me, how deep are they planted?

Thank you again,
Kim

Philo, OH(Zone 6a)

Do you have any left? I have no good flowers but I could send you a glass paperweight as I am an amateur glass blower?

(Cathy), MO

These were planted 6-8" deep. I'm going to plant the ones I'm moving, about the same depth.
I'm thinking I will send all these priority, and that's usually 4.60. You can just send me a check when you get them.
We are cool here today! It hasn't got out of the 50's all day! Shades of the coming winter.

Kennebunk, ME(Zone 5a)

Oh here too :(
Can see your breath in the mornings. The days warm up nicely but the nights are cool again. Fall is certainly in the air which means.......block your eyes......winter is around the corner (YUCK)!
I'm going to winter sow this year to keep the "gardening" feel and also have my houseplants so for that I am grateful but I'm already anxious for the garden to start "coming alive" again *lol*

(Cathy), MO

Kim when you guys talk about winter sowing seeds, how do you do it? Do you just plant them like you do in spring?

Archie, MO(Zone 5b)

Cat,

Hey I'm just up the road from you! he he

If you have any left I would love some for postage. I had to leave all mine when we moved to Archie a couple years ago. Trying to re-establish my gardens.

Thanks,
Lisa

Kennebunk, ME(Zone 5a)

Hiya Cat,

There really isn't much to it but Trudi (the person who "patented" winter sowing, has a VERY informative website here:

http://www.wintersown.org/

It's fun and I missed doing it last year so I'm going to do it this year :)

Kim

(Cathy), MO

Fate, TX(Zone 8a)
