just a thought
diehrd,
What a handsome young man you are! I've been reading many of your posts since you joined and I, like so many other DGers, am very impressed with your maturity and responsible behavior. I know your parents are very proud so always stay on the path you're on!
By the way, your photo of the beach makes me miss HHI so much. I lived there for 15 years (my son went to Sea Pines Academy then graduated from HH High in '93) and I still miss it. Sometime when I'm coming that way I might just have to bring you a plant or two. Ever think about dabbling in plumerias?

There's a place on your Member Page to put photos. It surprises me at how few people do that. You then just have to click on the person's name in their post to see it.

(Someday planning to move to the Carolinas)
You are a cool looking guy and I will keep am eye out for you the next time I am in your area! As to my picture, I am afraid the DG mainframe would crash if I posted it. Wouldn't want that to happen would we????
I will just remain the mysterious older (with much emphasis on older) woman. :-))))
Diehrd, I haven't forgotten your shampoo gingers; one of these days when you get home from school you will find a box on your doorstep.
Diehrd: It is fun to be able to put a face with a name. - Like June (future Carolinian), my pic is on my member page. Just click on my name. Meanwhile, to encourage my fellow hesitant friends, (Ardesia). I'm posting here the least flattering photo I have! LOL. This is me rigged up for a zip line canopy tour in C.R. this past June.
Deb
That's a cute picture, Deb.
I think I'll start signing posts as "future Carolinian" although it's at least five years down the road. Reading posts here makes it seem more real. I have family in both NC and SC.

dhs~Goodness, that picture made me almost snort ginger ale through my nose!!! Still laughing and choking;->
lol i can see you doing that... now i'm laughing!
Deb - What is a "zip line canopy tour"? Sounds like you're floating thru the tree tops.....
Core - Is that your daughter? She's a beauty, and adorable in that elegant little dress!!!
Newbie: Exactly as you said. You "zip" from tree top to tree top, waaay up in the rain forest canopy. And some of those tree tops are pretty far apart so you just fly. Lots of fun.
Hey all you Carolinians! Where are your pictures? Hmmmm? :)
Deb
Wow, what ride that must've been!!!! What kinds of things did you see? Or is that too big an answer for here? lolol
Well, actually, I didn't see much during the zip. Saw a monkey and a macaw. There may have been other things, but it zips by pretty quick. I could hear Howler monkeys but never saw them. Then there was the tarantula. :-$
Deb
LOLOL I just watched that movie again a few weeks ago. Really stupid movie, but I'm a huge Ben Stiller & Owen Wilson fan.
