Looking at New Vocations web site... I thought maybe the dressage folks might want to give this guy a quick look.... http://www.horseadoption.com/horsedetail.asp?id=686
Here's his description:
Jay is a big impressive gelding. He started racing at the age of 3 and just retired on 6/30/07. (He's eleven.)
He raced 90 times and won over 150K. Believe it or not he has clean legs a no apparent injuries. He was retired because his owner felt that he had lost interest in racing. Jay is a proud gelding and a true athlete. He has had a month of turn out and has just be started under saddle. He has a nice fluid stride and is very light on his feet. Jay naturally has a great rhythm and it would not take much time to get him going well. He would be most suitable as an eventer, jumper or dressage mount. This horse wants to compete and would be a fun project. He has no vices.
All the pretty ponies...
