Cooking with Dr Pepper and 7 Up

Houston, United States(Zone 9b)

When reading a recipe in another thread of mine I was reminded of a cookbook I got back in 2001 on making recipes that included pop as an ingredient. Here is the post that got me thinking about it: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/p.php?pid=3900730

And I went to dig up the cookbook, Cooking with Dr Pepper & 7 Up. I got it for free by writing to the company that produced it but the inside cover says additional copies are $3.50 check or money order only:

c/o Consumer Relations
Dr Pepper/7Up, Inc.
PO Box 869077
Plano, TX 75086-9077

Here is a link to the site that has the recipes or you can download a free PDF file of the above mentioned cookbook. http://www.brandspeoplelove.com/csab/ConsumerInformation/Recipes/tabid/99/Default.aspx

Like I said I've had the book awhile and since we almost never had pop in the house I've never made any of the recipes! But it sounds like a pretty fun idea, especially for kids to make that maybe you'll like the recipes. Please post results of any you may try!
