Famous Research Parrot "Alex" Dies

I was so sad to hear this. I've seen several film clips on Alex and he was such and intelligent sweet parrot!

Yes he was so smart! I saw a report on the news last night about him. :(

Aw, this is very sad news. I remember watching Alex on a TV show once, just sat there mesmerized for half an hour over how intelligent this bird was. I laughed out loud when he asked his trainer, after 15 minutes of being put through his paces, "How 'bout some water!"
