Famous African Grey parrot, Alex, is gone...

Alex, the famous African Grey parrot, died suddenly last week at 30 years of age. Here is a quick example of his accomplishments and a little glimpse of living with parrots.

Dr Irene Pepperberg worked with Alex for about 25 years and 'their' research has been used to help evolve speech therapy for children, among other things.
