CATS! But what kind are they?

Waxahachie, TX(Zone 8a)

This little sunflower came up in one of my rooting pots and it's covered in cats. Can anyone tell me what kind of butterfllies they'll be?

IL, these cats don't look like the American Lady cat.

Bronc, they could be Bordered Patch cats, some are black and some have more brown:

I raised a few of the Silvery Checkerspots recently. Sunflower is one of their larval host plants. Check out my pictures of the cats on the bug files thread. http://davesgarden.com/guides/bf/go/460/
