I happened to follow a link on Ebay under hoya plant, and I found that you can order Exotic Angel plants through Sears. I had never seen plants at Sears before.Has anyone else heard of this? They have one they call Hoya Regalis and they have Rubra. They are a bit pricey though, but maybe worth keeping an eye out for the harder ones to get a hold of. I was just surprised to find that you can actually order the Exotic Angels. They have quite a variety of other plants.
I don't know how to post links here so if this doesn't work just go to sears.com and type in exotic Angel in the search bar.

Exotic Angel Plants at Sears????
That's interesting Winterhaven, your link worked fine, you did good!
The one they are calling Hoya Regalis looks like the varigated hindu rope or compacta to me but I'm no expert.

I had read about this, and checked out the website, but the prices were horrendous, IMHO!
I'm not sure, either, that I'd have a lot of faith in the packaging skills (as far as *plants* are concerned) of the folks at Sears. I'm sure they'd do fine with 'hard goods', but unsure how they'd do with plants.
Can they be purchased for 'pick up' or is it only mail order?
Has anyone else purchased one via Sears? I'm curious now, too!
Hello everyone.
Not long ago I called Sears to find out more information. Turns out they only do mail orders; can not pick up at store, the plants costs twice than at Lowe’s and HD.
On top of that, they don’t have all plants available, only the ones shown on the first pages. I didn’t order.
Just letting you know.
Lourdes =)
I don't think I would order from there either, those prices are outrageous! Sounds like Florist prices. I don't know if they keep them in stock there or if it directly ships from Exotic Angel. That could be a reason for the mail order only. I can't imagine they would be too healthy sitting at Sears. I was just shocked because I didn't know that Sears even carried plants, I have never seen one in all the Sears that I have been to..
I had been away from lurking for awhile, so I have been busy trying to catch up with the hoya news.
Sooo many beautiful blooms to be tempted with and so many greenhouses to admire.

There prices are really high. Yikes..
Teresa, It will take along time to catch up. Thats what you get for leaving us !!! It shouldn't take anytime at all to get that GH filled up. Your half way there :) What did you figure out for heat?

There is a lot of catching up to do. I have to go back and read a couple every night. It looks like I missed out on a lot. But I am learning more tips on growing them like potting mix, rooting etc. I just got so busy with pups.
The nights here have been about 58 -60 so it's time to start thinking about moving them in. Lots of my plants are in the back porch. They are finally on a roll shooting out new peduncles and vines and now I have to think about moving them in.:-(
It was my fault because I actually put them out a little later than I should have. So trust me my greenhouse will fill up way too fast with all the ones I have on both porches. There are certain ones who are not allowed to stay out in the GH though. Hopefully they will all continue to grow once they are moved and finish out their blooming.
As far as heat for the winter, looks like it's still electric heaters. I wish I could do natural gas but the city gas lines stop just at the end of my road. With the city growth, I am hoping they will extend their gas lines.
I went out tonight and found that my bhutanica just bloomed up a storm, and boy does my GH smell so good. I think it smells heavenly. I may have to camp out there. LOL
