my doxie's coat has become dull and discolored and I wonder if anyone uses oil (like olive, or veg.). for this problem. I'm not due for a vet visit for some time--guess I could give him a call! Her coat is also discolored--she was an even chocolate color and now she even looks dappled. The vet says it's from saliva--the cat does groom her--I've tried to stop it, but she loves her so much. Any thoughts will be appreciated.
