Thanks everyone, for the birthday wishes. It's been a busy day, but I've loved every minute of it. I've had birthday calls, e-cards, paper cards, and my pharmacist even told me Happy Birthday. LOL! Jim and I went out for lunch yesterday because I wanted today to do just what I wanted to do and that was.... "nothing that meant work". Well, that didn't last, but it's still been a great day and how nice to be able to share part of it with such good friends as I have at Dave's Garden. Thank you all.

Thanks everyone. I had a really nice and relaxing day. Now today it's back to work. Parts of Iowa may get a killing freeze Friday night. I am sure it won't happen here, but in case, I'm taking some cuttings today. Have a good day and I hope you all have as nice a birthday as I had when it's your turn.

Many of mine just have tiny buds forming. I guess I'll have to drag most of them into the garages until it's safe to put them out, but the plants in the ground are stuck. I don't do shovels anymore. Not since I broke a bone in my leg jumping on one while trying to dig potatoes.

Thanks Marie. I've not been on the computer much lately myself. Just long enough to see if I have mail, mainly. Company over the weekend kept me away and now it is time to start taking more cuttings of the things I want to keep over the winter. I appreciate all of the birthday wishes.
