What, no 9/11 blooms?

San Bernardino, CA(Zone 8b)

Well, I've got some cool ones that bloomed today. Granted they probably looked a lot better at noon, but I'm still excited as there were two cultivars blooming for the second time.

First up for me is another beautiful Molten Lava bloom. See all those buds next to the flower - the bush is full of them!

Second is Rum Runner's evening colors with some seriously grasshopper-eaten leaves (grrr!).

And my favorite today is Saffron's second bloom. I love the white eye!

Have a wonderful evening!

Very pretty photos. I haven't had any new ones bloom lately except this double pink that I got from a friend in TX.

Brugie THAT is glow in the dark stunning! How big are the blooms? Baseball size? softball?

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Sorry I'm late getting here, but had company over the weekend and just wanted to kick back today. I would say the blooms are baseball size. That particular bloom lasted a full two days and then started shrinking the third day.

Oh, no...... I LOVE a long bloomer! Nice foliage on her, too.
