I also have a pink one that is almost ready to flower - I think I bought it as a mandevilla. But there is another name that escapes me at the moment. Jump in somebody !

Alamanda has smaller glossy leave, Mandevilla has larger rippled leave.
This is the result of my observations, I am not sure about the botany though, I did not look for the distinctive traits and terminology.

Got one this spring and it bloomed wonderfully all summer, it is really a show stopper.

Could it be Vinca? I started some from seed & they look similar. They like it hot & dry, full sun. The flower looks similar to an impatient.

Mandevilla is also known as Dipladena here in my garden centres.
This is mine last year.
