What color do you concider your Betty Cornings? I have seen them only in photo's and most of them look pink, to lavender. DM

I have Betty Corning, a fabulous performer all summer long without stopping, and it is definitely pale lavender bell shaped blooms. If you take off spent blooms, it even gives a better show, and mine is in more shade than sun. Wonderful Clematis.

I have this plant and I would consider the lavender more on the blue side rather than pink. This is a great clematis - blooms for 8-10 weeks and the foliage stays nice looking until the first killing frost. Just beware if you plant it to provide strong support. It will get massive.

Thanks strell and frahn for your input. DM

Jennifer that is real pretty. Thanks so much for sharing. I like the thought of them blooming so long. I have several places I could put a couple, so I'm trying to decide the location.
