I have TONS of seeds saved and ready to trade, of fragrant Four-o-Clocks:
NEON RED, ROSE PINK and an interesting "Scrambled Eggs" (yellow and white) bi-color.
Also, plenty of seeds harvested and to share from a new favorite, Balsam-Camellia (NOT the "tea" Camellia), saved in mixed colors (soft pink, salmon, red, violet, magenta and white). I LOVE the seed pods of these (also called "Touch-Me-Nots"), as they "explode" open when gently pressed (sometimes even the barest TOUCH!). BEES and butterflies literally flocked to my garden this year, with the Balsam-Camellias, so will be making them an annual part of my garden from now on (we NEED those bees!)
I'm posting a collage of pictures of my Four'o'Clocks, Hollyhocks and Balsam-Camellias, below.
Have packaged and saved seeds to share.
I'm looking for a type of GOURD, specifically the round "CANNONBALL" variety. Does anyone have any SUCCESSFUL seeds to share?
An area gourd gardener gave me some seeds this past spring, but when they fruited, they were DEFINITELY NOT "Cannonball" gourds, but "Apple" gourds, and then, those plants only produced one or two gourds each. I like the apple type, but REALLY wanted the perfectly-round 6" - 8" diameter Cannonballs for some future artistic crafting.
Can anyone help? The few places I've ALREADY found online (the more common, Googled listers) are either "out" or don't even grow/carry them...
