Early this morning, before it was light, I got up, and came into the living room. (that is not the scary part) I could hear Horsie's cat door open, and he took a long time to come inside (which usually means he is not alone, so I was ready for something) he entered the kitchen, saw me, and cried...and he was holding up, his left front paw! Scared me! I got up, and went over, and carefully picked him up and sat down again, in the chair, with him, in my lap..he wanted to get on the back of the chair, so I let him..I figured I could look at his foot better, with him being up, on something. My heart was racing, I thought, what am I going to do? Horsie's vet isn't open yet...that is when I noticed, his foot was caught in his collar...what a relief! so I took the collar off, to release the foot, and I put the collar back on, but not as loosely so he can't do that again...I was afraid he had really hurt himself.
A jolt like that, first thing in the morning....
