Never seen Hibiscus do this.........

Conroe, TX(Zone 8b)

I am going to place an image of this particular Hibiscus in the morning. Now, try to note the intense hot pink and reds in addition to its overall appearance. I have never seen a Hibiscus actually change colours during the day. By the end of the day it almost takes on an iridescence by the end of the day, looking much more yellow..........

Please take look at this image and then my follow up posting. I wish there was a way to place more than one pic per posting. LOL...........if there is let me know. Thanks

Tomato, Rum Runner is indeed a gorgeous flower in all her different colors :-)

You can't post more than one pic per post, unless you turn them into a collage like Robert, Brugie and Kyle do sometimes. Instead, you can just reply to your original post to put in another picture. Please do, we'd all love to see your beautiful blooms!

Hi

There are many different "fading" varieties of hibiscus. Too many to count. Rum Runner though is the fastest fader in the west. No flower changes color faster. I think the most famous fader is 5th Dimension. Goes from rust orange to yellow. Both colors are great.
