Anybody notice any changes in the flock at night when there is a full moon? My ducks seem to stay up all night wandering and quacking and it keeps everybody up including me...lol. They get all the birds riled up and I think there is a predator issue.
First time it happened I was out with a flashlight in the dark searching for some critter that was disturbing them several times. I thought they were petrified and it wasn't until the whole thing was repeated the following month that I realized it's the full moonlight.
My rat terrier gets whiggy when the moon is full but it's because she can see the animals crossing through the yard. The deer especially drive her nuts. In the winter months the deer don't pass thru they stay and dig up the snow in my yard to get to the buried acorns and she can't stand that they won't flee when she tries to intimidate them from her perch in the window...lol.

Full Moon
My ducks were super noisy that week too. I think it is because they can see with the light of the moon and that gives them more to converse about. There was one female that I was just about to strangle early. I must have gone out a half dozen times to see what the problem was, until I realized that it was the same one every time and then a few choice words and beaning her with an apple, shut her up. Now she just glares at me.
