I have some of these tubers/roots, I think I could sent some to you but I want to make sure because we've gat a quarantine of certain plant materials from our area. They are also a little broken up but I don't think it matters they should still grow. Let me do a little research and I'll get back to you. Here's what they look like.

Well there's a moth that I guess can damage fruit trees. I just looked it up there's a lot of controversy surrounding how damaging it is. Anyway, alstroemeria is not a host plant and I would be sending you tubers so I think it is fine, however I'd like to post a thread to see if anybody from my area has traded any tubers recently. Don't want to make a mistake. Hopefully it will work out. Also, I've heard that they can be kind of finicky and not bloomfor a while after being transplanted but you can give it a try. I'll get back to you again.
Ive heard that too, but I still want to grow them. I thought about buying some seeds but the link about the seeds are not as pretty as yours and the others I saw on plant files.

Uh, a lot of things. i looked at your want list and I do not have blue impatiens though. Gosh I could never name all the things I have. I have brugs, but I will not do cuttings until probably November. I have Passiflora 'Incense' rooted plants. Wow.. I dont know.... I have 'Endless Summer' hydrangea that I can take cuttings of. And Duranta 'SKyflower' rooted plants. Ugh...I wish you could take a tour of my yard...LOL Mentally I am trying to but it is hard to know what would appeal to you. I have lots of seeds too... Would it be too hard for you to list some things you want? I have dahlias I will be dividing this year. But I plan to leave them in the ground until spring, and then dig and replant them as they came back gangbusters this year. I trust doing that more than trying to store them over winter and hope they don't mildew... But I don't know if you want to wait that long... They are really pretty though

Oooooo. Those are gorgeous. I'd love to trade for some of those. I've got a bunch of dahlias I want to trade incidentally. Maybe when they go dormant we can trade Dahlias. I wouldn't mind trading the alstro for seeds or tubers of some kind. I love purple or blue or yellow or white. I'm wanting perrenials from seed. any bulbs. I'd like a butterfly bush (Budleia) interesting morning glory seeds, white sunflowers, spraxis bulbs, flowering begonias, daturas, clematis, bearded iris, liles, zinnias - the bushy kind, . Here's a pic of some of my dahlias.

They are all one thing. That is a picture of mine. they attract hummers, butterflies, etc
How about I'll send you the tubers and you just send me something, whatever, a surprise : ) Those all look pretty but I can't decide. I don't know how well the altro will do.
