A favorite in bloom yesterday

Hooks, TX

I only have a few hibiscus and this is one of my favorites. There are so many fabulous ones that everyone has posted. I didn't know there was such a variety of them. Definitely makes me want to add to my few.

Pretty color.

Brugie,
Thanks. It's such a clear, bright pink and I love the fluted edge. I've watched for seed pods but none are forming. I grew it from seed that a DGer sent to me last year. I've also had a dark magenta one to bloom, but I think I like the pink the best.

i would love to have more seeds if anyone has extras to spare.

Makes me think of a puffy pink cloud. Lovely flower.

Thanks, Tussee

I also have lots of seed from a red Texas Star hibiscus if anyone would like to grow that one. I grew it from seed also and gave it to my daughter for her garden. It's picture is below and the bloom is the size of my out-stretched hand, very large.
