Cool James,
Send them an email through the 'contact' on butterflies and moths home page.
:-S
do they ever respond or update their records when you e-mail them? Because, I've tried and no one has responded or updated the site. :(
I only submitted a siting yesterday, I don't know. If I don't hear back I will try something else. I felt like submitting the siting was the first step. How long has it been since you contacted them Lily?
:-)
July. :)
Hey James and Lily,
I wrote them a note yesterday inquiring about the entry protocol and told her about the lack of response..
Here was their reply to me:
Hi Deb,
Thanks for contacting us and letting me know. Some of our state and regional coordinators are swamped during the summer months, so they may be a bit slow to respond, but July is long past.
The standard submission procedure is here: http://www.butterfliesandmoths.org/faq/report.
Please have this individual forward their sighting information to me, and I'll take care of it. We require a photograph, date, and specific location details (address, city, county, state or territory).
If you have any other questions, please contact me.
Kelly
Thanks very much! Does Kelly have an e-mail address so that I can send my submissions to her when I get home from work? I've got more than one to report now. :)
:-S
http://www.butterfliesandmoths.org/faq/report. is standard procedure and most efficient
Kelly is the one who handles them when they come in.
Gotcha! thanks!
COOL !!!!! ...... will submit the sighting this weekend probably!!
thanks Deb
OH BY THE WAY ........... I went out to the milkweed this morning and I now have Monarch and Queen Cats out there !!!!!!!
