Check out this Great Hummingbird Video from Kentucky!

Marlton, NJ

Their really swarming at this guys place. Plus you see him holding the bottom of a feeder in his hand that they come to. He has loads of plants that attract them.

I know; isn't it incredible?

Melbourne, FL

Can't imagine seeing so many at one time....the most I have seen at one time is two!

Putnam County, IN(Zone 5b)

That is amazing!!!!!

We have started to get migrating birds. We have been astounded at what has showed up so far! Nothing like that video ! We have never experienced this before and we are enjoying the heck out of it.

I have had success now with holding the feeder. Our regulars were a little hesitant but I went out every night at the same time and eventually got all of them to come in. The new visitors have been very eager to feed while I hold the feeder!! You will have them flying and chasing around you though. Doesn't bother me but might make some people nervous!!

Too wonderful for words ! Thanks so much for
posting this. The most I get at one time is 2, and
they chase each other off.

Later every port had a bird except 2. I did not want to disturb the while trying to take a photo.

Not great but....if you look real close there are 5 hummers in this pic. 1 is on the back side.

Pelletory - Thank you for posting this!! That was amazing to see!! I was so happy when I saw more than 8 of them buzzing round here.. I wouldn't believe my eyes if I saw that many here!!! :)

Upstate, NY(Zone 5a)

They reminded me of swarming bees!! That is a lot of hummingbirds!!

Lawrenceville, GA

Very wise of the skinny dude in white and the old lady in purple NOT to go outside wearing red. That'd have hurt!

Jeffersonville, IN(Zone 6b)

That's almost scary! And to think that's in the city I work in. Huh. I think I'm happy with my 3. :)

Yes He's well acquainted with Hummingbirds. Last year he used to feed them out of the palm of his hand alot. I'm really surprised at the number of plants he has in such a short time.

Upstate, NY(Zone 5a)

Yeah I don't think I would like that many either. Just the video makes me want to swat them away. Don't get me wrong I LOVE hummingbirds, just not that many darting around my head at one time.

LOL,Same here dpoitras. I think he only has this many for one month. I still think that would be too long for me.

Lewisburg, KY(Zone 6a)

Cute video, my mom has had as many as 14, maybe more. It is really hard to count when they are diving and moving so quickly. I am content with 6! If I had a camcorder I would make a video too. They are so fun to watch. She has to refill her quart feeder at least once a day! She is 80 now and it is great entertainment for her and Dad.

A month is too long for me too Pelletory!! Might not be so bad if they weren't on the deck but further away from the house.

Marlton, NJ

His property looks fairly small and on a larger lot with more trees it might not be so bad.

I would want to pull more of those feeders away from the house myself.
