Boston Terrier Owner?

Okay...I'm still at it....researching good dogs. I prefer small-medium sized dogs, DH wanted the huge dog. :) He's "compromised" and said I can get what I want if it's a good match for us. I love the boston terrier's...they look beautiful---but I only knew one and she was a sweetheart. If you have/had one what do you think of a boston terrier as a family dog (other pets/children)?
