chilling seeds question

Gallatin, TN(Zone 7b)

I'm new to the hibiscus forum, and your pictures are making me drool as much as I do over daylilies!
Anyway, I have some hibiscus seeds that I've harvested and I want to know if they have to be chilled before I plant them? If so, for how long?
I harvested some seeds from my TX Star hibiscus, but I didn't chill them and planted them immediately. That was 3 weeks ago at least and they still haven't sprouted. I planted them in small pots in my greenhouse.
Thanks for your help!

Karen, You don't have to chill them, just store in a cool dark place till Feb then start them for next year.I soak the seeds overnight in warm water then plant, with a temp of about 80F they should sprout in 18-28 days.

Thanks, Kyle.
