Redbud Moths

This is why I have an ugly Redbud Tree. I decided to look for a name after DH commented on the sad state of the little tree.

They sure do a number on the leaves dont' they? Don't send them this way.....but the cat is kind of cute :)

OH!!! So that's what I have too, on my weeping redbud. Last year, I thought my new tree was toast it was so infested with those. This year hasn't been so bad. Maybe because of the drought? I'll have to check mine out better tomorrow....

Are there just a few of them, or do they damage the whole tree? I am just about to plant a redbud, but I don't want it to look like crud.

This year is just plain bad for bugs, so the damage is pretty bad now. Normally, I just see a little damage and just ignore it.

O.K.. thanks. : )
