Pretty, cat! :)

Oh my gosh...I am in love with Leroy. All I have today is a double on June's Dragon and White wind. I have a couple of new ones that might be open tomorrow.

I really like Leroy and Curly Top! And Cosmic Dancer too!

I don't have any blooming today--a couple buds that look like they're getting ready, but I guess they know better than to open in the midst of the smoky haze that we've got out here today. Hopefully tomorrow will be nicer and I'll have a couple of pretties to show off!

"Envie" looks a little different with all of the rain we have had

Great pics, guys! Totally into Louise Bennett and also, I'm green with Envie ;-) And you know how much I covet that Nightrunner!

Only a couple for me today. Thank goodness it was cooler - it almost felt like fall :-)

2 pretties from Erin Rachael.

Well, I had 1 Enlightenment and 2 Schizos, but my camera fogged up with all of the humidity, so alas - no pics! :(

And last one for me is another two-fer from Tangerine Dream.

Have a great night!

Hello,
Can I ask a question that will sound stupid? How do you tell if they are hardy or tropical? I grew a yellow this summer and also a red and I dont know what they are or weather I should bring in for winter???
Thanks for any help.

Easiest way is post a picture here and everyone will tell you. There are probably more yellow and red tropicals than there are yellow and red hardies, so without seeing them that would be my guess, but there are some hardies that come in those colors so you can't rule it out.

I can't seem to find them now but will do so tomorrow... Thanks...

Sorry it took so long but I could not find the pictures I had of these....
If someone could tell if these are hardy or not I would be most thankful

The red one looks like Hibiscus moscheutos which is hardy. Here are some from Plant Files, take a look and see if you think one looks like yours. I'm sure there are cultivars that aren't listed though. http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/adv_search.php?searcher%5Bcommon%5D=&searcher%5Bfamily%5D=&searcher%5Bgenus%5D=hibiscus&searcher%5Bspecies%5D=moscheutos&searcher%5Bcultivar%5D=&searcher%5Bhybridizer%5D=&search_prefs%5Bblank_cultivar%5D=&search_prefs%5Bsort_by%5D=rating&images_prefs=both&Search=Search

The yellow might be Abelmoschus manihot, but there are a couple others that have flowers that look a little bit like that. Plant Files lists it as hardy to zone 8, but I grew it one year and it behaved like an annual for me so I'm not sure if that's correct or not. http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/1888/
